DEFCON Kids is dedicated to teaching kids around the world how to love being white-hat hackers. A white-hat hacker is someone who enjoys thinking of innovative new ways to make, break and use anything to create a better world.

DEFCON Kids 3 will be August 2 -4, 2013 at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas as part of DEFCON, the largest hacker gathering in the world.

DEFCON Kids 2 was awesome! Thanks to all the great speakers, kids, parents, volunteers, organizers and sponsors. Speakers included General Alexander, Director of US Cyber Command and the NSA; Chris Anderson, Editor-in-Chief of Wired Magazine; Cory Doctorow, sci-fi author; Joe Grand, famous hardware hacker; and Marcia Hoffman, an EFF lawyer.
